开口进行简单的英语对话,并不需要成千上万个单词——需要的是"对的"单词。下面是30个基础单词,按主题分组,方便记忆。
家庭
- Mother / Father — My mother is a teacher. · My father works at home.

其中五个"不听话"
简单的词并不总是简单。以下这五个词,初学者最容易在这里绊倒:
- Money 是不可数名词——用 much money,但绝不会说«moneys»或«a money»。
- Home 在 go 后面不加介词:go home,而不是«go to home»。但 go to the shop 中介词是保留的。
- Work 既是动词,又能表示地点,而且不需要冠词:I'm at work.
- People 本身已经是复数:People are waiting.
- Buy 的过去式是不规则的:buy → bought。同样的还有 go → went、eat → ate、sleep → slept。
真正有效的记忆方法
不要试图一口气记住全部30个单词。先挑一组——比如"食物和饮料"——用其中每个词造一句真正描述自己一天生活的句子。带着语境重复,比死记硬背一份单词表有效得多。
两个词比一个词好记。 学 drink coffee、go home、catch the bus,而不是单独的 coffee、home、bus。搭配着学,语法就顺带学会了,用的时候也能整个脱口而出。

A: Are you hungry? I'm going to the shop.
B: A bit. Could you buy some bread? And water.
A: Sure. I need coffee anyway — I'm so tired today.

这里面没有任何超出A1水平的内容,但这段对话对两个成年人来说完全自然。
等这30个词用起来不再费力,下一步就是最实用的500个日常单词:原理相同,但覆盖普通一天的方方面面。再往后一步,则是学会给它们加上形容词。
