الإنجليزية في المقابلة: الحديث عن عملكم
كيف تبنون إجاباتكم عن المشاريع والقرارات السابقة — مع التحكم في الأزمنة الذي يلاحظه المحاورون.
الإنجليزية في المقابلة مهارة قائمة بذاتها. المفردات عادية؛ والصعوبة أن تبنوا الإجابة تحت الضغط دون أن تضطرب الأزمنة.
بنية الإجابة: الموقف ← الإجراء ← النتيجة
هذا أوثق نمط في المقابلات الناطقة بالإنجليزية.
الموقف: We were losing about a day a week to manual reporting.
الإجراء: I built a script that pulled the data automatically and flagged anomalies.
النتيجة: That cut the reporting time to about an hour, and we caught two errors we'd have missed.
الإجابات الضعيفة تنتهي عند الإجراء. أما النتيجة فهي ما ينتظره المحاور بالذات.
التحكم في الأزمنة
- Past Simple — ما فعلتموه: I built, I led, we decided
- Past Continuous — الخلفية: We were losing a day a week
- Present Perfect — الخبرة العامة: I've worked on several migrations
- Present Simple — ما هو صحيح الآن: I work mainly in Python
الانزلاق الكلاسيكي — الانتقال إلى Present Simple عند الحديث عن مشروع سابق: ❌ So I build the script and it works well. ← ✅ So I built the script and it worked well.

فخ why are you leaving يستحق التسمية صراحة: انتقاد صاحب العمل الحالي يكلّف أكثر من أي شيء آخر تقريبًا قد تقولونه. وعبارة I've learned a lot there, but I'm looking for more technical depth تنقل الشيء نفسه بأمان.
بصدق عن إسهامكم
يستمع المحاورون: هل تفرّقون بين أنا ونحن؟
- I was responsible for the data layer.
- My role was to coordinate between the two teams.
- I led a team of four.
- We delivered it together, but I owned the testing.
نسبة عمل الفريق كله إلى أنفسكم تبدو منتفخة؛ و«نحن» المستمرة تجعل إسهامكم غير مرئي.
عن الصعوبات والإخفاقات
السؤال عمّا سار على غير ما يرام شبه مؤكد. النمط: ماذا حدث ← ماذا فعلتم ← ما الدرس.
- We underestimated the migration by about a month.
- I flagged it early and we re-scoped rather than rushing.
- Since then I always build in a buffer for data cleanup.
تجنّبوا الطرفين: لوم الآخرين، والادعاء بأنه لا إخفاقات.
كيف تكسبون الوقت وتعترفون بالثغرة
ستحتاجون إلى الأمرين، وكلاهما طبيعي:
- That's a good question — let me think for a second.
- Could I come back to that at the end?
- I haven't used Kafka in production, but I've done something similar with RabbitMQ — shall I talk about that?
النمط الأخير هو ما ينقذ المقابلات: اعترفوا بالثغرة واعرضوا فورًا أقرب خبرة حقيقية. الادعاء الكاذب ينكشف سريعًا ويكلّف أكثر بكثير من الثغرة نفسها.

- What's the range for this role?

- I'd rather understand the role fully first — could we come back to that?
- Is there flexibility on that?
اذكروا نطاقًا لا رقمًا واحدًا، وبعملتهم ونظامهم (سنوي، قبل الضرائب).

السؤال الأول يستحق الحفظ: إنه يدعو المحاور إلى قول شكّه بينما أنتم ما زلتم في الغرفة وتستطيعون الرد عليه.
يقيّمونكم على الإنجليزية أيضًا، لا على الخبرة فقط. الإجابة الواضحة المرتبة بإنجليزية بسيطة أفضل من المعقّدة التي تضيع منكم في منتصفها. جمل قصيرة، وفكرة واحدة في كل منها، والنتيجة في النهاية — هذا يُقرأ كفاءةً في بُعدين معًا.
إجابة واحدة مبنية كما ينبغي
Interviewer: Tell me about a time a project didn't go to plan.
Candidate: Sure. We were migrating about 200 accounts and we'd estimated six weeks. About two weeks in it was clear the data was much messier than we'd assumed.
Interviewer: What did you do?
Candidate: I flagged it that week rather than hoping to catch up. We re-scoped — moved 40 of the messiest accounts to a second phase. The main migration landed a week late instead of a month late.
Interviewer: And looking back?
Candidate: I now always build in time for data cleanup before committing to a date. That's the main thing I took from it.
