- That makes sense.
- I think you're right about that.
- Exactly — that's what I was thinking too.
- Good point, I hadn't considered that.
❌ That's wrong. ✅ I see it a bit differently, actually. ✅ I'm not sure I fully agree — here's why. ✅ That's a fair point, but I think there might be another way to look at it.
| Intensidad | Frase |
|---|---|
| casi imperceptible | I wonder whether… · Could I offer another angle? |
| suave | I'm not sure I agree. · I see it slightly differently. |
| clara | I don't think that'll work, and here's why. |
| firme | I have a serious concern about this. |
| objeción formal | I'd want that recorded — I don't think we should proceed. |
- What if we tried...?
- One option could be...
- I'd suggest we...
- Could we consider…? · Would it be worth…?
Preguntas para aclarar
Nunca adivine en una reunión — pregunte.
- Sorry, could you clarify what you mean by that?
- Just to make sure I understand — are you saying...?
- Sorry, what does that mean in practice?
- Sorry to interrupt, but...
- Can I just add something here?
- Quick point before we move on...
- Can I just come in on that?
I just come in there?
|---|---|
| agenda | orden del día |
| minutes | acta |
| action / action item | tarea asignada a una persona concreta |
| AOB | any other business — «varios» al final |
| to chair | dirigir la reunión |
| to park | posponer de forma deliberada |
| offline | let's take that offline = lo hablamos aparte, no aquí |
Si usted dirige la reunión
- Shall we make a start?
- Just to recap where we got to last time…
- We've got twenty minutes, so let's keep it tight.
- Can I get everyone's view on this? · Marta, what do you think?
- Are we agreed on that?
- So the action is: Tom sends the draft by Thursday.
- Anything else? Right — thanks everyone.
Cómo retomar el tema principal
- Let's circle back to the main question.
- That's a good point — let's park it for now and come back later.
- I think we're going round in circles — shall we decide?
So, to summarise: we're going with option B, Tom's drafting it by Thursday, and we'll review on Monday. Is everyone happy with that?
Chair: Shall we make a start? First item — the launch date.
A: I'd suggest we push to the 19th. The testing window's too tight otherwise.
B: Sorry, can I just come in there? I see it a bit differently — the 12th is doable if we cut the reporting work.
A: That's a fair point, but I have a serious concern about shipping without the reports.
Chair: OK — let's park the reporting question. Are we agreed on the 19th?
B: Fine by me.
Chair: So the action is: Tom confirms the 19th with the client today.
