Could you...?
- Could you help me, please?
- Could you repeat that, please?
- Could you speak more slowly, please?
|---|---|---|
| 直接 | Open the window.
| 中性 | Can you open the window?
| 礼貌 | Could you open the window, please?
| 非常礼貌 | Would you mind opening the window?
| 正式 | I was wondering if you could open the window.
Would you mind waiting?
- Can I have a coffee, please?
- Could I have the bill, please?(稍微更礼貌一些)
- ❌ Give me a coffee.(听起来像命令)
- ✅ Can I have a coffee, please?
- Can I sit here? · Could I borrow your pen?
- Is it OK if I open the window?
- Do you mind if I sit here?
- Do you mind if I sit here? — No, not at all.
- Yes =
大多数母语者会用 Of course not 或 Go ahead 来避免这种混淆。
- Could you just check the address?
- Could you possibly send it today?
- Do you have a pen, by any chance?
- Could you help me at all?
- Excuse me, ...
Excuse me, where is the station?
- Sorry, I don't understand.
- Could you repeat that, please?
- Could you say that again, more slowly?
- How do you spell that?
- What does "delayed" mean?
- Thank you. / Thanks.
- Thanks a lot. / Thank you very much.
No problem.
这就是为什么 Could you…?
Excuse me, could you help me, please?
Of course. What do you need?
你: How do I get to the airport?
Take the number 12 bus.
你: Sorry, could you repeat that?
The number 12 bus.
你: Thank you very much!
Sorry to bother you — would you mind having a quick look at this?
Sure, no problem. Now?
你: Whenever you have a minute. Could you possibly get to it today?
I'll do it after lunch.
你: Thanks, I appreciate it.
Sorry to bother you 打开话头,would you mind + -ing 提出请求,possibly 让截止时间显得没那么紧迫——而结尾的感谢是必须的,不是可有可无的。
