英语易混词辨析:borrow/lend、say/tell、make/do 怎么区分

免费辨析英语里最容易用错的近义词组——borrow 和 lend、bring 和 take、say 和 tell、make 和 do,不专门弄懂就会错上很多年。

Borrow = 向别人借(拿过来)。Lend = 借给别人(给出去)。

  • Can I borrow your pen?
  • Could you lend me your pen?

借),lend to(借给……)。

❌ Can you borrow me €10? ✅ Can you lend me €10?

Bring 和 take

  • Bring your laptop to the meeting.
  • Take an umbrella — it's raining.

  • He told me the news. / He said the news was bad.
  • 固定搭配: tell a story, tell the truth, tell a lie, tell the time
  • 固定搭配: say hello, say sorry, say a word

❌ He said me he was leaving.

Make 和 do

Make = 制造、产出某样东西。Do = 完成一项动作或任务。

make do
make a mistake do homework
make a decision do the washing-up
make progress do business
make an effort do research
make a noise do a favour

The party was fun. His story was funny.

Look、see、watch。

I saw an accident. I looked at the menu. I watched a film.

Remind me to call her. / I can't remember her name.

你向老师 learn(学习),老师 teaches(教)你。

Prices rose. They raised prices.
I lie down. I lay the book on the table.
The door opened. She opened the door.

They stole my bike. · The shop was robbed.

We won the match. · We beat Liverpool.

❌ I have a good work. → ✅ I have a good job. ❌ I had a nice travel. → ✅ I had a nice trip.

Can you borrow me a pen

A: Could you lend me your charger? I left mine at work.

B: Sure. Remind me to take it home tonight.

A: Will do. Did you hear about Sam? Someone stole his bike.

B: No! Actually, that's the third one this month.

Lend、remind、take、hear、steal
