از تحصیل و تجربهٔ خود بگوییم
چگونه روشن از تحصیل، سابقهٔ کار و مهارت‌های خود بگوییم — با زمان‌های درست.
در مصاحبه، در شبکه‌سازی یا در اولین دیدار، حرف زدن از خودتان یک نمایش آماده است. دشواری اصلی واژگان نیست، کنترل زمان‌هاست.
قاعده‌های زمان که اهمیت دارند
Past Simple — کارهای تمام‌شده و تحصیل:
- I worked at Siemens for three years. (حالا نه)
- I studied economics in Warsaw.
Present Perfect — تجربه تا اکنون یا کاری که ادامه دارد:
- I've worked in logistics for five years. (ادامه دارد)
- I've managed teams of up to ten people. (تجربه بدون تاریخ مشخص)
Present Simple — سمت فعلی:
- I work as a project manager.
- I'm responsible for the reporting side.
خطای کلاسیک — Past Simple برای کار فعلی: ❌ I worked here since 2022. → ✅ I've worked here since 2022. فارسی‌زبان‌ها اینجا اغلب Present Simple می‌گذارند — ❌ I work here since 2022 — چون فارسی می‌گوید «از 2022 اینجا کار می‌کنم».
For و since
- for + مدت: for three years, for six months
- since + نقطهٔ شروع: since 2022, since March
عبارت‌های مفید
سمت فعلی:
- I work as a... / I'm a...
- I'm responsible for...
- My main role is to...
- I report to...
تجربه:
- I have five years' experience in...
- I've worked on several projects involving...
- Before that, I was at...
مهارت‌ها:
- I'm confident with... / I'm familiar with...
- One of my strengths is...

چگونه از نتیجه بگوییم، نه از وظیفه
رایج‌ترین ضعف دستور زبان نیست، شمردن وظیفه‌ها به‌جای نتیجه‌هاست. مقایسه کنید:

الگو این است: فعل قوی + کاری که کردید + عدد. حتی عدد تقریبی هم آهنگ جمله را عوض می‌کند.
فعل‌های مفید: led, built, cut, improved, launched, introduced, handled, coordinated, trained, resolved.
چگونه پاسخ کوتاه را بسط بدهیم
مصاحبه‌کننده معمولاً پاسخی چهاربخشی انتظار دارد، نه یک سطر:
- وضعیت — We had a backlog of about 300 tickets.
- وظیفه — I was asked to get it under control.
- اقدام — I introduced a triage system and trained two colleagues on it.
- نتیجه — We cleared it in six weeks and it hasn't built up since.
حتی در سطح B1 این الگو جواب می‌دهد، چون هر بخش یک جملهٔ کوتاه است.
صادقانه از سطح خود بگوییم
بزرگ‌نمایی زود لو می‌رود و کوچک‌نمایی کارتان را از دست می‌دهد. انگلیسی میانهٔ کارآمدی دارد:
- I'm confident with Excel. (با اطمینان استفاده می‌کنم)
- I'm familiar with SQL. (می‌فهمم، ولی متخصص نیستم)
- I've had some exposure to Python. (کمی سروکار داشته‌ام)
- I'm learning German — I'd say upper-intermediate.
- That's not something I've done, but I've done something similar with…
عبارت آخر مفیدترین جمله در هر مصاحبه است: کمبود را می‌پذیرد و همان لحظه نزدیک‌ترین تجربهٔ واقعی را پیشنهاد می‌کند.
وقفه‌ها و تغییر مسیر
کوتاه و بدون عذرخواهی توضیح بدهید:
- I took a year out to travel.
- I was made redundant when the team was restructured. (بدون اشاره به تقصیر شما)
- I stepped back for family reasons, and I've been freelancing since.
- I wanted to move into something more technical.
یک جمله کافی است. توضیح طولانی وقفهٔ عادی را به مشکل تبدیل می‌کند.
چگونه پاسخ را بچینیم
معمولاً مصاحبه‌کننده انتظار دارد: اکنون ← پیش‌تر ← چرا اینجا.
At the moment I work as a data analyst at a logistics company, where I'm responsible for weekly reporting. Before that, I spent two years in customer support, which is where I first got interested in data. I've been looking for a role with more technical depth, which is why this position appealed to me.
به ترکیب توجه کنید: Present Simple برای اکنون، Past Simple برای دوره‌های تمام‌شده، Present Perfect برای خط ادامه‌دار.
«Tell me about yourself» پرسش باز نیست. یعنی: دو دقیقه از مسیر حرفه‌ای شما، با رسیدن به اینکه چرا اکنون اینجایید. شروع از دانشگاه یا از جایی که بزرگ شده‌اید رایج‌ترین راه از دست دادن دو دقیقهٔ اول مصاحبه است. از اکنون به عقب بروید.
یک داستان، دو بار
ضعیف: I worked in customer support. I was responsible for answering emails. Then I moved to data. Now I make reports.
قوی: I'm a data analyst now — I own the weekly reporting for the logistics team. I came to it from customer support, where I was handling about 40 queries a day and started automating the reports nobody had time for. That's what got me into data, and it's why a role with more technical depth appealed to me.
همان مسیر شغلی، همان سطح انگلیسی. در روایت دوم فعل قوی، عدد و خط پیوسته هست.
